Preparation instructions. Add 15-20ml to hot purified water or your hot beverage of choice once or twice daily. Rinse around the mouth to achieve sublingual absorption and mix with saliva which is a digestive enzyme and will ensure complete assimilation.

Ashwagandha is a very versatile yellow flowered oval leaved herb traditionally grown in India, Africa and the middle east. Ashwagandha is a relative of the tomato and produces small red fruits but are the size of a grape. This powerful herb can lower the levels of the stress hormone cortisol and consequentially inflammation in the body.

Macerations use solvents which may leave harmful residues in the end product, most tinctures contain alcohol which is a systemic poison. Herbal extracts remove mineral salts and bitter principles through simmering herbs in water for a prolonged period. They contain far higher levels of active ingredients, no alcohol and can be made from hard plant parts unlike infusions. Our herbal extracts are made in small batches from organic ingredients by our fully qualified herbalist. They are also a superior form of supplementation than tablets or capsules, as many of those have artificially made ingredients and contain filers, flowing agents, excipients binding agents and preservatives. Also, they often contain only one active ingredient neglecting the fact that nutrients work synergistically in the body. Our qualified Herbalist uses only our own zero ppm quad filtered distilled water, all equipment used is stainless steel and our herbal extracts are bottled into steam sterilised UV resistant pharmaceutical grade glass bottles, which obviates the need to use preservatives of any kind. Take care not to touch the inside of the neck of bottle or lid against anything or return decanted herbal extracts.
