Iodine is an essential mineral to humans, as it is involved in virtually all bodily processes. Iodine deficiency is far more common than most realise. Our decolourised Lugols iodine is completely clear, eliminating any risk of staining surfaces and allowing for transdermal application without yellow patches on the skin. We manufacture it ourselves to ensure purity, it is a mixture of elemental mined iodine and potassium with our own quad filtered steam distilled water.

Please note: We only use natural rubber bulb pipettes, not synthetic plastic pipettes, so please make sure to wash out your pipette after use as iodine can cause the rubber to perish. Store in its original, light resistant bottle. Store in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Does not need to be refrigerated - Iodine is highly antimicrobial and therefore is mould resistant. Keep bottle tightly closed until ready for use.
